Item Location Definitions

Item stocks can arrange with the help of draws numbers, shelves numbers rack numbers etc.Here we can define shelve/draw/rack description and items can be located easily with the help of shelve/draw/rack numbers. In this screen we can Add a new Item Shelves, Edit a previously defined Item shelves, Delete an unused Item Shelves and Inactive/Activate an Item Shelve. Inactive Item Shelves won’t be appear in further definition, transaction and reporting screens of the entire system.


  • Here user can define new Item Shelves.
  • The Item Shelves would be used in the most of the combo/list boxes throughout the program.
  • The ‘Inactive’ Item Shelves could not be used in the Definitions, Transactions, Reports throughout the program.



This code is an auto-generated number. This code will be attached to each Item Shelves.


User can check or uncheck this check box by using mouse click or by keyboard. Here this field is used to inactive Item Shelves, which are no more required. The inactive records could not be used in the whole program.


Save button would save the new Item Shelves or Edit any changes to previously recorded Group in the database permanently.


Add Button would allow to add a new Item Shelves.


Edit Button would allow to edit the selected Item Shelves.


Delete Button would allow to delete the selected Item Shelves. This Item Shelves could only be deleted if there is no record saved against this specific Item Shelves. 


The print button would preview the complete Item Shelves List. This list can be printed on the required printer on pressing the Print button  at upper left corner.


Exit button is used to close the form.
