Screen Overview:
The Accounts in each Subsidiary Groups would be defined here. This list of each Subsidiary Group would popped up at the time of Voucher Posting and this extra information would help the Management/Accountants to further classify the Transactional Account.
Features
- Here user can define Subsidiary Detail in each Subsidiary Group.
- Each Subsidiary Group would have its own sequence of Codes.
- The ‘Inactive’ Subsidiary Accounts could not be used in the Transactions throughout the program.
Description:
Group
The combo list shows the Subsidiary Groups. Each Subsidiary Account would be associated with a specific group. The Coding sequence for each Subsidiary Group would be different.
Code
The maximum length of Code filed is 3. This code is an auto-generated number. This code will be attached to each Subsidiary Account and the code sequence would be unique for each subsidiary group.
Description
Here user should enter the description of Subsidiary Account in the selected Subsidiary Group. The maximum length of Name field is 100. User can enter any value alphanumeric value in this filed.
Inactive:
User can check or uncheck this check box by using mouse click or by keyboard. Here this field is used to inactive a Subsidiary Account. The inactive records could not be used in the whole program.
Save
Save button would save the new Subsidiary Group or Edit any changes to previously recorded Group in the database permanently.
Add
Add Button would allow to add a new Subsidiary Account.
Edit
Edit Button would allow to edit the selected Subsidiary Account. The Subsidiary Group for the selected Account could not be changed.
Delete
Delete Button would allow to delete the selected Subsidiary Account. This Subsidiary Account could only be deleted if its not been used/saved in any of its dependent screens.
The print button would preview the complete Subsidiary Account List. This list can be printed on the required printer on pressing the Print button at upper left corner.
Exit
Exit button is used to close the form.
